Everyday our Community Outreach Program continues to grow larger and seeks to communicate MAIF’s mission of “Keeping Drivers on the Road” to all Maryland citizens. Whether we are hosting a booth at a community fair or providing free Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) etching for a school group or civic association, MAIF is dedicated to helping Maryland drivers understand the importance of having automobile insurance and driving safely on Maryland’s roads.

Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) etching is a security technique in which your vehicle’s identification number is permanently etched into all of the glass of the vehicle. VIN-etching marks the vehicle with its own unique set of “fingerprints” that can be useful in recovery if the vehicle is stolen.
